The staff and teachers at this school are very helpful. Mr. Farthing is a wonderful principal to the children as well as Mr. Shirley. The staff is very involved and our children have excelled in school so far. LaVille is very willing to work with you on anything you would like to know about your child. There are many activities for the students and parents to get involved with.

This is a great school! The teachers and staff care as well as the parents and the rest of the community. The children have many activities too choose from so their is a nice atmosphere and a sense of community. The teachers are creative and are always finding new ways to teach. It's nice that funding is still there for extras (P.E., Art, Music,Computers) and the wonderful library. Even the principals know just about every student by name! Couldn't be happier.

Laville is a great school. My children couldn't be happier. They are envolved in sports and other extra activities. Hardly a week goes by that I as a parent am not at the school for some activity. There is always something going on that involves the whole family. My kids grades are high and their test scores are above average. Great teachers and a wonderful administration add up to great schools.

In addition, high schools were graded on four-year (on-time) graduation rates and college and career readiness indicators including Advanced Placment exam results and industry certification exam results.

What is the GreatSchools Rating?

The GreatSchools rating is a simple tool for parents to compare schools based on test scores, student academic growth, and college readiness. It compares schools across the state, where the highest rated schools in the state are designated as “Above Average” and the lowest “Below Average.” It is designed to be a starting point to help parents make baseline comparisons. We always advise parents to visit the school and consider other information on school performance and programs, as well as consider their child's and family's needs as part of the school selection process.
