Our family is so happy to be a part of Pope John! The principal, teachers and staff care so much about the students. Pope John provides a great foundation for a faith filled education and is a safe and nurturing environment for my child.
I currently have a preschool student at Pope John XXIII. She has learned so much through play and instruction. The faculty and staff are very caring and make all families feel special and welcomed. The setting is ideal as they located within the elementary school. There are special events that preschoolers and parents attend in order to get to know other parents and prepare students for kindergarten...step up days, Muffins for Moms, Donuts for Dads, parent socials. My daughter wakes up on the weekends and asks....is it a preschool day? She is thriving in this Christ-centered enviroment!
We have five children in the school. Three that attend Pope John and two that attend Shawe Memorial. We believe our children are getting an excellent education while building their Catholic Faith. We are proud to be a part of this school and community.
I am an alumni of Pope John XXIII school and still am involved with the school today. I am so proud to see how the school, faculty and staff have developed through the years. The school cares for the students and challenges them to be the best they can be. The parents are so involved with the children's progress and this is so important. We are lucky to have this education option in our community.
Our child transferred from another Catholic school and the transition went very smoothly. He was welcomed by all and loved it here. The faculty and staff are very caring and welcoming to all students.
I am a teacher at Pope John XXIII and enjoy coming to work daily because of the students I have and the parent involvement. My co-workers are the greatest and always share ideas with each other.
My son loves attending Pope John. He can't wait to get to school each morning and is happy to stay at the wonderful Extended Care program after school. He has developed a great sense of responsibility and accomplishment in both his academic advancement and spiritual life. There is such a sense of respectful acceptance among the students and teachers as they learn and have fun.
My daughter thrives at Pope John. The school is a safe, nurturing environment filled with dedicated teachers and staff. I like that Pope John offers strong academics along with weekly art, P.E. and music/band class. All activities are centered around the growth and enrichment of my daughter's faith. Families are welcomed and encouraged to be involved at Pope John and the school offers many opportunities for fellowship. Our family highly recommends Pope John!
This school is an excellent school. Not only are there high academic goals, but the students are encouraged to learn about life skills and apply them to their every day lives. The students also have the opportunity to learn about God and apply that information into their personal life. All of these factors have helped produce wonderful students at Pope John. It is a wholesome education and a loving environment.
My son attends preschool here. He absolutely loves it. He has a great teacher. They learn so many diverse things there- from ABC's to watching a caterpillar turn into a butterfly. He is also learning social manners so that he will be ready for kindergarten, such as standing in line, taking turns, and cleaning up. I couldn't imagine a better place for my child.
