My school is amazing! They offer more one on one time with teachers without being too much time, and the teachers care about the students more than the average teacher would.

Tabernacle provides the best possible environment for the attainment of spiritual and academic excellence in Morgan Johnson, and Monroe counties. They provide an educational process that puts the Word of God at its center. Tabernacle provides quality education through trained, qualified teachers who not only have education at heart, but also desire to serve God through teaching according to His principles. Tabernacle's goal is to instill in the hearts of its students a love for their home, our country, God and His Church. Also, they assist each student in developing to his or her full potential physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

What a great school! All children are treated with respect, and the academics are top notched. They provide a great all around education and accept everyone Baptist or not. The entire staff need to be congratulated on all their hard work. The school may not be large but it prepares students to learn to think, not just how to take test!

This school has been a wonderful place for our child. The tachers and staff seem to truly care about the students. I am so happy that we found TCM. I think they have a lot to offer as far as academic preperation as well as a friendly, non-frictioanal atmosphere. All the students and staff seem to get along wonderfully. This is something that does not seem to happen in the public school system. TCM has been a dream come true!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

What is the GreatSchools Rating?

The GreatSchools rating is a simple tool for parents to compare schools based on test scores, student academic growth, and college readiness. It compares schools across the state, where the highest rated schools in the state are designated as “Above Average” and the lowest “Below Average.” It is designed to be a starting point to help parents make baseline comparisons. We always advise parents to visit the school and consider other information on school performance and programs, as well as consider their child's and family's needs as part of the school selection process.
