Awesome school with wonderful teachers and a highly effective principal. So glad I chose this school for my daughter.

St. Stans displays the Christian values that are so often ignored in today's secular world. This Carholic school accepts all that want to be a part of their learning community. It's very refreshing how this school spreads the word of God by demonstrating that we are God's children.

I absolutely love this school, the teachers are great and the children are so well mannered! The academic level for most of the children is well above the other local schools.

There is always drama at this school. Someone is always unhappy- whether it be us parents, the teachers, or the children. The last thing that is focused on is the education. If you're truly at this site to look for a honest opinions on where to send your children- this is not the place. Check back in a few years when mrs jellenick is not the principal anymore. It's a shame because it used to be such an honest loving catholic school. I guess that's what happens when someone with such immaturity and emotional instability is in control. My child left and is not upset about it.

No discipline. The middle school is so out of control and the middle school teachers let then get away with anything. Then the rare times that they are sent to the principal office, the students are glad about it because the principal wants to be friends with them. If it weren't for middle school, my children wioild still go there

Bullying is out of control. Members of the school community do not exhibit Christian values. The curriculum is not challenging. Many teachers do not have basic classroom management skills. Problems are swept under the rug until they are too big to ignore.

Teacher effectiveness: Neutral

Certain teachers are great. Mrs. Huhnke in 2nd grade is awesome. Many other teachers lack basic classroom management skills and do not differentiate for students who are on the higher ability levels.

2 stars for teachers only. they are smart and kind. and Truly care about students and parents. But, Miss Jellinik (Miss J the principal) is an unfit principal. st stans was better when she was only a teacher. besides being rude, she would rather be best friends with the students instead of in charge. I can tell that parents and teachers must feel the same way because eevr since she became principal, students AND teachers are leaving the school to go to ND or Queens of all Saints.

The school administrators have zero time for you when you have a problem, and rarely return your calls. Many of the children and parents love Mrs. J (the principal) these are the ones that have yet to have an issue! From my experience problems and issues are pushed under the rug and dismissed as misunderstandings. I must not be the only one realizing this because, numerous teachers and families have left this school in the last two years.
