My mom can't offerd here for my education because she doesnt have enough money. Even though she works to jobs, she send all her money from her second job to her family in the Phillipines . And Marquette still wont let us have Finacial aid. Even though my grades are good. They rather give scholarships to people who are good at sports but have a 2.2 grade point average.

Great school. They care about your childs success. My child had a C in a class and they had her coming in 2 days a week before school to help her better understand and bring up her grade, which helped and her grade is up now.

Marquette is my family, it's my life. I've learned more since I started Marquette than I've ever learned before in my life. There is an amazing combination of extra curricular activities and academic opportunities. The teachers take as much time out of their everyday lives as needed to help you understand and succeed. Everyone really incorporates love into everything they do in addition to being friendly and helpful. I've grown so much, academically, physically, and emotionally. Marquette makes it worthwhile to get up every morning. I actually enjoy going to school, which is something I never thought I would say. The students, teachers, staff and principal have helped me and shown me unbelievable love and kindness. I will never forget nor ever be able to thank Marquette for all it has given me and is still giving to me.

Marquette Catholic is growing every year. Updated technology, wireless campus and computer labs are just a few of the new additions. Students are able to learn in a safe, caring environment where moral values are taught and practiced every day. The certified and professional faculty and staff are helpful and supportive in making sure students are successful. Many extra-cirricular activities have been added to their program. Community organizations benefit from the students who volunteer and donate their time and service. Many of their sport programs have made it to regional & state competitions. By the time students graduate from Marquette they are well prepared for college. The Academic Advisor works extensively with seniors to make sure they apply to colleges and scholarships. If you don't think you can afford Marquette, think again. They have several scholarships & assistance programs that make it affordable. Check out Marquette, you will not be disappointed!

Marquette is rebuilding after a few rocky years, but I would still plan on investing my childrens' futures there. As a Marquette student, I found that what you put in, you got out. The foundation of Marquette is strong, and a Catholic education is important. My parents supported the beliefs of Marquette, and that made a world of difference. As a college student at the number one liberal arts college in the Midwest, I never felt overwhelmed with my work load and was consistently praised for my writing abilities (a special thanks to the ever-dedicated Mrs. Sue Meer). The support and positive reinforcement from such role models as Mrs. Milzarek, Mr. Schaefer and Mrs. Crane helped me in my personal decision to become a high school teacher. With their new principal and solid support staff, I am convinced Marquette will continue to be an excellent choice for a great education.

Marquette High School has been a wonderful choice for my daughter. She is now an honor student at Indiana University and believes that the things she learned at Marquette has helped her to succeed. Marquette's academic programs are outstanding. In addition, she has been prepared to organize her time to have better study skills. The teachers at Marquette are dedicated and show concern for the students. Estracurricular activities are limited at Marquette, however.

The principal is actually the worst sort of man you could have as a school administrator. They have no respect for parents of students unless they are rich. They do not even offer a foreign language, the teachers change every year and so do the classes. If one has to pay tuition to go to high school, one would expect the highest quality of the classes and the variety that is offered but sadly neither is true. Anyone would be better off going to the public high school or traveling out of town for school.

Profile Completeness

Want to improve this school's profile?

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.
