I am currently enrolled in Clinton Central Junior-Senior High School, and I happen to think that it is a fine school to go to. The teachers and faculty work hard to keep our school clean and teach our students as much as they can.

Clinton Central sits in a quite rural community. Boasting an experienced staff and a great learning environment, Clinton Central is far and away one of the top schools in the area. The small class sizes obviously offer more one on one time between teachers and students, therefore, if the child comes to learn there are many than ample opportunities to do so. As with most smaller schools, the community is somewhat sheltered and has a very agricultural based background. As for the previous posts about ISTEP scores, Clinton Central has continuously been one of the top performers in the Clinton County area. Again, there is more to it than just the output. The student and their parents should be held accountable as well. As stated previously, there are several opportunities for the children not only in the educational sense but also in a variety of extra-curriculars.

This school is a very small school. The Teachers and Administration have a very small town attitude. There is no after school tutoring program and Teachers are far too busy with coaching sports to help students during after school hours. ISTEP scores are awful and so is the drop out rate. Make sure you check with the Indiana Dept of Education website before you enroll your child in this school.

It is a small school with a solid teaching staff, yet has all the limits that most small rual schools suffer from. That being a lack of diversity and experience. This is a relitively safe and sheltered learning enviroment
