St. Joseph School in Monroeville, IN is a 5 STAR school. In 2008-09 it was ranked 1st in the Fort Wayne area in the ISTEP rankings and 2nd in the Fort Wayne/South Bend Dioceses. It has a proven record of Excellence in Education that no other school in the Monroeville area comes closes to achieving. Many Vals/Sals graduated from SJS. It has small classes under the instruction of long-term, caring teachers who have devoted their lives to helping each student achieve the highest possible level of education that they are capable of achieving. Students learn a Christian doctrine in their every day classes, disipline, respect for themselves, their teachers, other students, and their parents. They are taught to practice daily good study habits that stay with them throughout their education careers. Call 260-623-3447 for more information about SJS.

St. Joseph School, parish ministry of St. Rose de Lima Catholic Church in Monroeville, IN, is known in this area for its Excellence in Education with many Vals/Sals at the high school level and beyond. It has an excellent staff will most teachers earning high Diocesian awards as well as the principal, Carolyn Kirkendall winning the Fort Wayne/South Bend principal of the year award. It offers parish members, non-members, non-catholic students the same excellent education all at the same tuition rate. It has the only 3 full day kindergarten in the area. Tuition reduction programs in place giving back at least $350 per student last year. Scrip program available for 75% of proceeds going to tuition reduction. Wonderful, caring, Christian staff were students learn respect for teachers, each other, and receive daily instructions in the Catholic religion and a faith in God to last a lifetime. Nothing better in the area!

This is an excellent school with caring staff that cares about each student. Parents are encouraged to be involved. Daily emphasis on God that will prepare a child for his entire lifetime. High ISTEP Scores in English and Math. Open enrollment with 6% of students non-Catholic. All students assessed the same rate of tuition. Many 4 generation families have attended the school. Tuition reduction programs in play with approx. $350 per student to be given back in school year of 07-08. Additional ways to reduce tuition through Scrip program. Some families have reduced tuition by half by participation in program. Excellence in Education with proven track record of many Vals/Sals at high school level and beyond. 3 full day kindergarten, only one in area. It is a great school for children with small classes offering more one on one time with teacher. I highly recommend it for all children.
