Children with learning disabilities aren't getting what they need through the NIS. There should be more involvement with the principal, teachers, parents and children. Please focus more attention are the children with learning disabilities, not just push them through the system without them understanding what they are to learn.
It is obvious that the entire staff work very diligently at delivering a quality, personal, education for all the students. They care, and it shows.
This is a wonderful school. Fairly large in size, but still has that small town feel!
Needs 101% improvement as far as teachers and supporting staff is concerned.
The academic programs at NIS varies depending on what team you are on. Music, art and other programs are available, although sports are limited until sixth grade. On most teams the academic programs are good, but on a few they could improve. Overall, NIS is a good, fun school you will enjoy!
