I went to school at NJ-SP. There's little going to school here did to prepare me for post graduation. There's litte college prep or assistance. There's little focus on the student's educational need. Although there is a great sense of community it all focuses around football and basketball. I loved my time at NJ-SP but looking back now, this is not a school I would send my kids to.
Our school has a great student population who faces many challenges such as poverty, lack of resources, and lack of parental support. We also have a great, caring staff. Our teachers, administrators, and support staff go above and beyond to help our students to be successful. Please consider our school for this wonderful opportunity.
Our students are very fortunate to have the advantages of a small, caring school atmosphere. Staff members go above and beyond to offer support to our students.
Overall great students who have a lot of challenges they must overcome. We have great academic teams and music program. Staff cares about the students and try to go above and beyond to help them be successful.
A small community school where teachers and students care about each other.
As an alum of NJ-SP, I have to say that I have very little faith in small town public school systems. While some teachers at the school did care, most were satisfied as long as students 'got by.' As a student, I was never inspired to pursue an exciting career, discover my talents, or even leave that town. When I went to college, I struggled tremendously, especially in English and grammar. Fortunately, I had professors who were willing to help and show me my strengths. Aside from teachers, I think parents should be more involved in putting less emphasis on its athletic programs. Athletes are treated as royalty at this school, and they never have problems 'getting by.' More attention should be focused on academic teams and the arts.
This school is the best in the whole world. I love it!
I had one child go to this school and if I had it to do over again, there is no way that I would send him again. I am only glad that I only had the one. If your kid is an athlete and a very good one at that than he/she will have it made, or if he/she has the right last name then yes, everyone is willing to help them in academics or whatever it is they need, but if not they are just there.
North Judson High School is a good school. We have many great teachers and an awesome Administration Department. Everyone is caring and willing to help all students in academics. My complaint is our athletic program. We need to show some interest in our varsity level sports programs. Athletics are very important to some students who do not excel in academics. Parents should not be coaching their own child in a varsity level sport.
I think that it is a wonderful school for children.. I think that some parents need to put more into being parents instead of trying to have the school do it all for them.. If a student comes to school angry I hardly think you can blame the school.. maybe some of us need to look a little closer to home before bashing this school.. All I can say about it is they have done a wonderful job with my children and I wouldn't have anything to complain about except for a few of the peers that my children have come in contact with..
