North Salem Elementary School

This is an excellent school! The staff is committed to school improvement and work hard to achieve higher standards. The PTO is actively involved in the daily workings of the school and the teachers are often supported by parents who volunteer in the classroom. All classrooms are inclusion classrooms with students' individual needs being addressed. The school has a strong planned program for high ability students.

This is a wonderful school where the staff and principal really care about the kids. Our kids really enjoy going to school because they make learning fun. The school also was ranked very high on their istep scores. I am very proud that my children go to this wonderful, little school.

We observed several elementary school classrooms in the area and we chose North Salem. We have been extremely pleased with our decision.

Save yourself from this clickish school. If moving into the area I would look to go 40 minutes south to experience a good school for your elementry age kids. Our child went to this school and our was not treated with any respect. He was bullied by a child the entire year and no one ever did anything about it. For your childs sake I would stay clear of this school system.
