NMS is not that great, it is dirty. Staff treats kids as if they are second class citizens. Get told one story one day and another a next. Attitude is it is ok for kids to be disrespected and treated any way if they broke a rule. Teachers rather play on smart phone than teach. If you can avoid it do so! There are a very few great teachers, most are subpar.

I currently attend Norwell High School as a sophomore, and I love it. It's just like your average school. I'm not a cheerleader or an outcast, but I fit in just fine here. Most people are accepting, and the ones that aren't are just like everyone at any other school. Teachers do care, you just have to offer the same respect. Academically? Norwell is good. Socially? Norwell is good. Reviews from parents are just stingy and disrespectful.

there are shady things behind the scenes of the school that students are scared to bring up... students are cruel to other students who are in the least bit different but academically and sports wise it is an amazing school!!

Academically, Norwell is very good. Availabilty of extracurricular activities is limited based upon who you are. Communitee and school are very clickish. The band program is second to none in the state (outstanding). School board loves to spend taxpayers money on big projects.

Norwell is in the process of rennovation to the physical structure of the school! They need to do the same to teachers... Bullies spread the entire school, no matter the age and there are many cliques. They may be good in extra-curricular areas, but during school is a disappointment.

The only reason the school scored a 3 in Safety and Discipline is due to the fact that the school is safe due to the surrounding area. As for discipline, the school is overdisciplined, and often infringes on students' civil liberties.
