Selma Elementary is an excellent school. The students are offered a wide variety of learning opportunities that go beyond text books and worksheets. The PTO is very active. The school is a close knit community of families that work together to continually improve education, health, and relationships. There are several area churches and community organizations that volunteer time and resources to improve the well being of the students. Selma Elementary students receive a good quality education and are well prepared for a healthy and happy life.
The staff at SES really are the best I've ever dealt with. They all seem to want whats best for the students & will do what they can to make each one a success. The Principal is new this year and I am impressed with his abilities and ideas. My daughter LOVES school here! Many parents aren't as involved as I would like to see, however, the ones who are involved are really involved and truly care about the school and the students. Mrs. Carter, counselor, is wonderful and has such a great relationship with every student on a personal level. Congratulations to this school for always putting learning, whether its by books or life experiances, first in all situations!
