This school is on the front lines fighting for America's under-served. The teaching staff is relatively new with continuing professional development. This, coupled with solid administrative leadership, has this school turning around under previous dire circumstances. Over the past seven years, WHS has reclaimed its school community. Battling today's economic downfalls, WHS tries to find any way possible to serve their students.
To much emphasis on discipline. the uniform rule is taking away from actual learning. The school waits to long to get with student before they fail at anything.
Washington is a great school. Mr. McCollough (the principal) is very involved with students to see what we think needs improvement on. The teachers and coaches always stress academics before athletics.
This school is the best school in Indiana. The teachers are very well educated and interact with the students. The extra-curricular activities are very good especialy the girls basketball team.
I think it is a wonderful school, the teachers there really are concerned with your education and help you as much as possible to succeed in striving for your future wether it be college, or a career opportunity, they do all they can to help you in anyway. The sports teams there are also excellent and goal oriented to work as a team and not as one person for the whole team.
this is a good school I went there for four years an recieved a great education. Dwyane A. lewis
The teachers work with you to help you succeed and on to further education. The principal keeps the teens in order and runs a zero tolerance school.
