Lasalle Intermediate Academy

The Teachers and staff are cold and have no communication skills. I was told this is a wonderful school. They make you feel like if your child is not at LaSalle they are just not smart. Sham on you LaSalle!

We are new at LaSalle this year coming from Tarkington. Tarkington definetly prepared my daughter for LaSalle. The teachers are warm, understanding and also strict, which is welcome in our home. My daughter is very comfortable there and I am very pleased with the communication and dedication presented by the teachers.

I have not seen too many schools with such a dedicated staff. At 5:00 and 5:30 the parking lot is still full of cars and there are so many opportunities for students to participate in. The music programs are as good as most high schools. My child has worked hard and challenged at this school.

The teachers at Lasalle Academy have done their utmost to help my son (7th grade) achieve his potential. We are grateful for their passion for their work and the excellent organization of the coursework and evaluation structure (including homework websites). Jazz Band is terrific too! We only wish the classes were a bit smaller (20-22 per class), to allow for more personal guidance to middle-school kids, who can be challenging at times.

I am attending LaSalle currently and I think very highly of the school. The teachers and administrators are very helpful and are full of knowledge. They have a variety of things to teach and they teach it all (MR.BENNETT) LaSalle is a fantastic school and I am proud to say that most of the life skills that I have, I have aquired them with the help of the teachers and administraitors at LaSalle.I am currently in the 8th grade and feel that LaSalle is the best choice if considering attending South Bend Intermidiate Schools.

i love this school because i have been in academies ever since i started school and this one gives you great opportunity and good educated learning. Your field trips are even like school. you go out of town to chicago and sometimes you even have field trips inside the classroom! all the kids there are smart and make good choices, it is really easy to meet new people and make new friends. the teachers are great too! (Mr. Marosz and Mrs. Lotridege) and teach you great stuff. i know when i go to college i am going to be a step ahead of most people there go Lions!!!

While I agree LaSalle is a excellent academic school, it is definitely lacking in a few areas. The teachers and administrators don't seem to concerned with student problems. I feel as though they (administrators and teachers) know there are atleast 100 other parents that would like their child to attend LaSalle, so the ones having problems (fitting in socially or academic) are of little to no concern. I have also found that my childs homeroom teacher is never available to speak with and stand-offish when I do finally get a call back and voice any concerns.

This school is great all of the teachers are great mentors for the students. The homework that the school gives them are top notch, and the school has polite students. Go Lasalle Lions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lasalle is a fun but stern school. You get to many fun things there and they have great ideas for teaching.
