Very good school. All 3 of my kids attended and all have done well. I would highly recommend WTHS to anyone looking for the small school atmosphere.

I am so disappointed in this school. We have tried to work with whole school but to no end we are pulling our children. My daughter was bully very badly by her peers and the staff was aware and did nothing to help the issue. My daughter is already at another school and is doing so much better. Please don't send your child to this place pick another one of East Porter schools you will be sorry in this one

I attended WTS from 7th grade until I graduated! And now my 2 sons are attending. My oldest is in 6th grade and my youngest is in 1st grade. I love it and moved back to this area because I am very comfortable with everything this school had to offer me and because the teachers do CARE about what is going on with your children. WTS cares & I am very proud to say my kids attend. My daughter will be attending also! Very nice school & awesome teachers!!! The sports program needs some help, maybe a director who is on the up & up. Otherwise ACADEMICALLY top notch!!

I attended Washington Township my senior year of High School. I attended Valparaiso High School all other years. WTHS truly cares about its students but could use some more polished teachers. The facility I attended has since been turned into the elementary school and boy did they need a new school. It had no air conditioning at the time I attended in most classrooms and was very overcrowded. The new facility is extremely nice as a matter of fact I am currently the 8th grade boys basketball coach. Overall this is a fine school.

As a parent with two children, one with learning disabilities, I find that both my children are getting the best education possible. We came from Las Vegas where they try, but basically baby sit our children. A few really care, but no where near how they care here. The teachers here are great, they want to make a difference, true educators. They go far and beyond what is expected. As parents we need to be involved, my opinion is the teachers can't do it alone. Get your children to do their homework, work with the teachers, at Washington Township they are so willing to work with you. One teacher even gave us his home phone number to be reached at any time my son needs help. I have no complaints.
