SHCS is a place where the teachers teach because they love to teach! You will feel God's presence when you walk through the doors. It is a wonderful change from crowded classes and bulleying. My boys know more about the Bible than I do..and live it out everyday! It is worth every penny and I'd do anything to make sure they can stay there!

We love this school. Our daughter started here when she was 3, she is so intelligent and she was learning in prek what my niece was learning in k5. The curriculum in this school is ahead of most public schools. the teachers here are the most genuine and caring people you will ever find in a school system. it is very expensive , however it is worth every cent!! my daughter just loves going to school here. she learns alot and we have seen a difference in her mannerisms. she is more polite than most kids her age. I highly reccommend this school .

This school has caring, geniune teachers who instill an above average education. They provide supplemental classes in art, music, p.e, and computers. I would highly recommend this school to lay a great educational and spiritual foundation for any child .

Community ratings and reviews do not represent the views of GreatSchools nor does GreatSchools check their accuracy or verify the reviewers' identities. Use your discretion when evaluating these reviews.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Above

Our rating (from 1 to 10) reflects a school's overall performance. The higher the rating, the more likely the school will prepare your child for the future, so choose an above-average school (8-10) if possible. For average schools (4-7), do careful research and look for evidence that the school has high-quality programs. For below-average schools (1-3), take caution; a low-performing school may not provide the instruction or environment your child needs to learn, and you may need to supplement classroom lessons at home.

Academic rating

The academic rating is made up of equally-weighted parts: students' test scores, their academic growth (for elementary and middle schools) and their readiness for college (for high schools). Unfortunately, this school doesn't have sufficient data to generate an academic rating.

Climate ratings

Climate rating for this school is not yet available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
