Warsaw is a very, very good school. Easily the best in the area. The administration is not as bad as others have made them seem. Warsaw has an enormous student body and yet they manage to cater to students of every intelligence level. The classes they offer range from slow-paced pre-algebra to insanely difficult, challenging classes. They offer so many AP courses, it's surprising (anything from AP European History to AP Organic Chemistry). The teachers are sort of disconnected and very tough on students in most cases, but it's not all that bad (this is coming from the parent of a student in mostly challenging classes, so it's to be expected). The students at WCHS are very easy going and accepting. If your child starts in the middle of a school year, they'll feel at home in no time.

We moved to Warsaw from an affluent Chicago suburban school district with rigorous academics. I was initially very concerened about moving our daughter here, but have been thrilled with Warsaw H.S. which frankly matches the Chicago school academically and surpasses it because this administrative staff and teachers go way above and beyond to teach with care and committment not found elsewhere. The athletic programs here are also superior- quality coaching and a myriad of different sport and extracurricular activities to choose from. All of this in a new beautifully-designed building with a small town wholesome feel- this school will prepare any student to succeed!

This school like all school has its good and bads, but I find WCHS to be a very good high school. Many of the teachers not only teach the material, but expand on it and discuss it and open the discussion to more questions and learning expieriences. Also, I find that at WCHS the kids are very personable. It seems that all students get along fairly well and tend to have good relationships with one another and their teachers.

The teachers at WCHS are very good but the administration leaves quite a bit to be desired. Not a level playing field from my expierence with discipline. My kids both graduated from WCHS. My advice is to not make waves with the administrators. The Spanish program by the way is very good. Both kids have been ahead of their peers in college from what they learned in the Spanish department. '

We are recent transplants to the Warsaw area and have been more than pleased with the reception of the students and teachers at WCHS. The kids have gone out of their way to make my daughter feel comfortable and teachers have extended the grace and instruction to help her maintain her A/B average. I am happy to report things are all good at WCHS!

This school is mediocre at best. Some of the teacher's have only enough knowledge to present the material per the text, and not enough intellegence to lead much of a discourse regarding the material. The school (and community) are very clique oriented, and you can expect to be excluded if you don't have the 'right' job for the 'right company' and live in the 'right neighborhood. This is small town at its worst.

I've had two children attend WCHS, one of which is still attending. I'm amazed at the course offerings and quality of the 'challenging' electives. The offerings in life science are especially good. The great classes are there, if the kids take them. The only downside of the school is I feel the administration places more emphasis on sports and, to a lesser degree, on other extracurricular activities than on academic acheivement. I'd like more recognition for the academic high acheivers. I guess if my kids were jocks I'd feel differently. But overall I think the teachers are great and the opportunities for learning are amazing. I wish I could've taken the kind of classes available to my kids at Warsaw!

Actually, I'm not a parent. I'm a former student of Warsaw Community High School. I graduated in 2004, an achievement of which I am very proud. My goal is to become a writer, and an english/literature teacher. I am confident of my ability, and I know that I can do it because of the confidence my own English teacher had in me. She was a great teacher, always pushing me to do my best and to get the work done. If ever she reads this, I want Mrs. Halpin to know that I am eternally grateful. Thank you so much.
