Many parents feel their child's school is the best (and that's great!!). But we truly believe our school is the best! We couldn't love Washington STEM anymore! Mr. Ray, the faculty, and staff are top notch! Washington teaches cutting edge academics as well quality character traits. They demonstrate these traits to our children daily. Our kids reap the benefits of quality training. Washington is a diamond in the rough. Our facilities are not the latest, but that lack is rarely noticed b/c this school shines in every other way! Washington is truly an amazing place! Thank you, Mr. Ray and all the teachers and staff! You do a great job!

Under the fantastic leadership of Principal Tom Ray, the teachers challenge themselves and the students to explore, experiment, and evaluate in all aspects of education and life. The teachers aren't afraid to try a new approach, program, or project to teach critical concepts and they do a tremendous job of integrating subjects into a single project. My son have become more curious since attending Washington and is always asking questions about the workld around him. I am having fun exploring it again through his eyes.

This school is top notch. The Pricipal is an excellent leader and goes above and beyond the call of duty. My daughter has learned valuable PC skills and stepped up her ability level since joining this school a year ago. The teachers we have encountered here are bright, capable, and good role models. We are proud to be part of this school!!

Washington STEM Academy is an awesome elementary school. The staff do an outstanding job incorporating the STEM education with hands on real world situations and experiments. The staff has also done great work with my daughter who is on an IEP. When we moved to the district in first grade she was really struggling. She now reads on grade level and is learning to overcome her learning disabilities. Tom Ray and the school are took notch in my mind and I am grateful for the school.

As a former student and now a proud parent, my children look forward with enjoyment and excitement to go to school each and every day. My children attended Washington before it became the stem academy. They loved it then and love it even more now with all the extra cool and neat new things they get to do. My children come home excited ready to tell me about their day. "Washington Stem Academy is the very best!"

Washington Elementary educational center where children learn through experiential activities. Through the process of trial and error, our 4th grader has learned about physics and the importance of trying different approaches to problem solve. As important as the curriculum, the school understands that children thrive in an environment where they feel safe and welcome and where learning is fun. Winter weather has caused several school closures this year and my son is often disappointed when he is unable to go to school on a snow day! Washington STEM elementary and its faculty are making a difference in my child's education for the better.

My child is a student at Washington STEM Academy. There are so many great things happening at that school and my child loves going there. The students there are blessed with a constructive amount of technology that teachers do a great job balancing the use of. I find it amazing what the kids can do with their learning. The teachers there have a rich talent of noting a student's talents and interests and incorporating that in their teaching through project-based learning. However, I believe the best part of that school is that so many teachers are devoted to teaching character development. A lot of them focus on traits such as manners, honesty, self-control, kindness...etc. Even if you were to take away the S-T-E-M concepts from that school, my child would still be a better person on the inside because of attending there.

My son is extraordinarily fortunate to be able to attend this amazing school. He has a talented and caring teacher Mrs. Blakely. The principal Mr. Ray is one of those special people who facilitates a well organized, caring, and curious environment.

We moved here last year from a place we loved in the middle of the school year and knew it would be a bit rough on our kids. The teachers at Washington were wonderful in helping our kids adjust to their move to the area. This year, 2 teachers have offered a special class an hour early on Fridays to help students who need extra help, giving their own time. I am just really impressed with everything that Washington does for the kids!

My daughter chose to switch schools to attend classes at Washington. Even at the cost of leaving familiarity and seeing her friends every day; she decided that the curriculum at Washington was more interesting and valuable to her life in the long run. When asked recently if she had made the right choice she said it had been difficult, that she still misses her friends, but she likes classes at Washington better. I think that says a lot!

Washington champions the call of educating our furute generations. The level of engagement from both academic and behavioral ownership perspectives is next to none. The faculty is, though not very diverse and therfore limited in its potential, is good it its own right. The one critique I would offer is simple, diversifying the staff in order to engage a growing minority population would make Washington not only trailblazers with respect to STEM academics but also send the message that education is for everyone, and education should come from everyone (presupposing qualifications). Thanks

Washington Elementary has a great, interactive, well-rounded program! I have seen my son and many other students made to feel special and one-of-a-kind by the teachers and staff. Washington Elementary doesn't not just start and stop with the school year. My son is active and learning all summer long with extracurricular activities brought to my attention by the school. They provide us with free math apps and online libraries of books, which make learning fun and easy for my son. He loves going to school everyday, and I couldn't ask for anything more!

Being a parent of a child who has attended another elementary in Warsaw, I am very happy with Washington. Most teachers my children have been in contact with are helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about my kids. They find new ways to improve behavior and motivation and constantly stay in communication with me. The principal always surprises me when he remembers my children or if he sees me knows who my children are! Great school and I intend on keeping my kids enrolled until junior high!

Washington STEM Academy is simply amazing. I couldn't feel any better about sending my children to school. My two children have attended there for the past three years and it is so heartening to see how much they love school and how much they are learning. The project based learning teaching approach combined with the STEM enhanced curriculum seems to be the perfect formula to keep my children engaged and actively learning each day. If you just take a walk through the building on any given day you will be struck by how much activity, collaboration and learning is going on. The teachers here are so dedicated and the principal is accessible and involved every day. A+++++ all the way around.

Washington is amazing!! We transferred from another school last year where my daughter was struggling. Since starting at Washington she has gotten the help she needed and is now a straight A student. My son, first grade, also loves Washington. He is totally immersed in the STEM curriculum as he is very tech savvy. We also have an up coming kindergartner that can't wait to be part of the Washington family. Being part of s stem school is amazing. I love seeing the children working with their environment, helping the community, and learning technology that is much needed in this day and age. The teachers and principal, Mr Ray, are outstanding. They are firm but caring, creating an atmosphere of school pride and respect.

I transferred my kids to Washington STEM two and a half years ago. I had been enrolled in a private catholic school here in Warsaw. I am so happy that I did. I actually wish I had years earlier. I notice such a positive change in my kids' confidence as well as their desire to go to school and learn. I thought that keeping my kids in a private school would help them succeed, but I have found this not to be remotely correct. All of the reasons I was sending them to a smaller, private school were fulfilled in a public school. Tom Ray and his staff are as good as it gets.

The school does a wonderful job teaching all children to their ability and making each child feel valued. The school teaches a science, math, and technology curriculum, with many hands on activities for the children. My children have done everything from dissecting squids to building robots to wading in lakes to collect specimens. The principle Mr. Ray loves his job and does an excellent job with everything. The teachers consistently go above and beyond. I've been impressed with this school since we enrolled here nearly 3 years ago.

To our family Washington Stem Academy is the best elementary school in our community. Each staff member makes each child feel important and treated fairly. They all go beyond their requirements to teach all the children what's required and they also teach them to be good citizens too. The children learn great morals and values as well as learning their academics being taught. We are very grateful to have such caring staff teaching our children.

We came to this school in 2nd Grade from a Private School. It was immediately a huge difference. The leadership in this school has proven to be much stronger than a small school. The teachers are wonderful and our son enjoys school now and is learning so much and making high honor roll regularly. This school is an asset to the community.

My child is in kindergarten. The teachers and the principal are wonderful. They all are so caring. Staff is outstanding in the office. Washington Elementary by far is one best schools we have in the district. I also have a son that is 21 and I have moved and have been in a different district. Another township. The Web site has been informative, user friendly. I've felt that my child is getting the best possible education. I've seen major improvement with my childs learning development. Tom Ray, the principal is an Amazing guy! He genuinely cares about the students and their academic growth and their personal growth as great citizens and people. So much of today's attitude in education is about filling seats and passing standardized tests. Tom and the great teachers at his school are dedicated to a lost art: Instilling the love of learning! For me, the choice was either to send my daughter to Washington or go the home school route. As long as we Have principals like Tom Ray and great teachers like Mrs. Corson, there is hope for public education.

My son's teacher, Mrs. Corson went "above and beyond" the other day by scanning and emailing me some of my son's work and her comments about his work. I was able to send it to his dad and grandparents and we were all able to view his work, his teacher's comments and shower him with praise. I asked him how it made him feel that he did such good work and he looked at me with a huge smile and a thumbs up. : )

I absolutely love Washington STEM Academy. My son has some learning difficulties and the teachers he has had there have been nothing less than great. Especially Mr. Pike and Mrs. Patton. This is an all around GREAT school! The teachers are fabulous. The principal is just the best. The curriculum is well above other schools we have experienced. My children were struggling readers and writers. Now, as my children put it, they "write like the wind." And reading, I can't get them to put books down - this school inspired my children to love reading. As for science, social studies, and the use of technology, again another big point with me. My children use technology in a way that will prepare them for their future. The projects that my children have been involved in have help them with their personal and public speaking skills (I couldn't do what they do). The principal is very forward thinking. If I could only in words describe his leadership. They come home every Fiday from school to share with me what Mr. Ray said at "gathering time" (Friday morning he meets with all the students to discuss expectations - give your best effort to acts of kindness, no acts of meanness). He's doing this new thing now where the students and staff sport their college shirts - it has us talking as a family about going to college - this one person has inspired our whole family.

Three of our four children have had the privilege of attending Washington. The Teachers there are awesome, caring and motivational. They are lead by a great Principal Mr. Tom Ray.
