I really miss this school. I'm a former student and loved the small class sizes, and how others seemed to care. I had friends in different grades, and when I was hurt and couldn't go out to recess, the other students played with me anyway.

This is a fabulous school. The teachers are willing to go the extra mile for any of their students. The older children are great mentors to the younger ones. Academics is top quality and prepares the children for for high school and beyond. Parents are active participants in the process. Great family atmosphere.

If you don't want your child to be lost in the crowd, St. Aloysisus is the school for you. The staff at St. Aloysius is very dedicated to both the academic and spiritual growth of each child. It's a small school with a very family like environment. Older children mentor smaller children. There are also many opportunities for involvement in all sports - where all students are allowed to participate. I wouldn't trade the education my children have received at St. Aloysius for anything. They are growing into responsible, well-educated and caring people. Please contact St. Aloysius for a tour - you won't regret giving a little of your time. They can even set-up a day for your child to attend and find out for themselves how special it is.

Above
average

Our rating (from 1 to 10) reflects a school's overall performance. The higher the rating, the more likely the school will prepare your child for the future, so choose an above-average school (8-10) if possible. For average schools (4-7), do careful research and look for evidence that the school has high-quality programs. For below-average schools (1-3), take caution; a low-performing school may not provide the instruction or environment your child needs to learn, and you may need to supplement classroom lessons at home.

Academic rating

The academic rating is made up of equally-weighted parts: students' test scores, their academic growth (for elementary and middle schools) and their readiness for college (for high schools). The graphs below compare this school's results in each area to other schools in the city and state. Growth and college readiness ratings are coming soon, pending publication of 2012 data.
