This school is great! The curriculum is great, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and well educated. The environment is safe and professional. This school is highly recommended.

Our family has spend one school year a this school. We are now buying a home in another area just so our children will NOT have to be at Terrace again this year! The teachers and the principal have no follow thur! The Summer school was there was a total joke! The most effort I've seen the teachers at Terrace make is in talking about the parents of students (who is sleeping with who, who has gained weight... they make no effort to hide their gossip)! The best action I've seen the school make was over a cell phone! Our chilldren came home acting as if a child had been taken from the school and then we find out it was cell phone taken from the office! Come on!

Having moved here from Ohio, I was expecting a better staff. I'm sad to say that my son s teacher is not! My child s self-worth has suffered as well as his grades. He is the type of child that works harder if he believes you like him. His teacher has made every effort to make sure he knows that she does NOT! I agree that Iowa has a better school system overall (in comparison to Ohio) but as far as I am concerned that is on a child by child basis! I think that this school should spend less time with all the rules they do not really enforce (like bullies and by that I mean teachers and students) and spend more time getting to really know who the child in their care are!
