    Richard O. Jacobson Elementary opened its doors in the spring of 2009 and offers students a 21st century learning environment. Each classroom comes equipped with interactive Promethean (white) Boards as well as teacher voice amplification systems. Additionally the building features secure entry points to maximize student safety as well as green technology meant to reduce energy consumption including geothermal heat / air conditioning, natural light in hallways and classrooms, and a motion activated lighting system throughout the facility.
