We love St. Matthew School. It is a wonderful learning environment for all students. And it is the type of school where every teacher (not just his or her classroom teacher) knows your child's name. They learn daily (through instruction, interaction with peers and examples by teachers and staff) that their faith is an important part of their life and that all people should be treated with respect and kindness. My children thrive at St. Matthew School and we are so thankful to be part of the St. Matthew community. It is truly a welcoming and fun-filled school committed to helping each student build a successful foundation for learning. And just one last note: it is wonderful to also have an Early Childhood Center and Preschool program that feed into the elementary school so students feel a connection to St. Matthew and are welcomed into the wonderfuul learning environment early.

Simply put, St. Matthew School is the best. We have had two children who have had the benefit of going through and have two children who are currently attending. The level of education all of our kids have received is superior. We have watched our children become prepared and nurtured in every area.....academic, spiritual, emotional, physical, etc. The leadership of the principal is strong and an anchor of all things good that happen and the teachers and all support staff are amazing. Everyone is on the same page. Parents are invited and encouraged to be a part of the team as far as helping children become their best. Finally, the best part of St. Matthew School is that we are all a family, reaching out and supporting each other, the way Christ wants. Choosing St. Matthew School/Parish for our family has been the best decision our family has ever been blessed with.

Each child is respected for his or her individuality, and the staff truly care about the kids.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
