Van Buren Elementary School

My family and I just moved up to IA from FL and when my kids started, my daughter need help in reading and math. When the school got Kayla's folder from the other school no where in the folder did it show that my daughter need help. I told her teacher that Kayla need help in reading and then her teacher told me that she also needs help in math. In a month, my daughter got the help she needs to get on track for her reading and math, with in 6 months, she is on track with math. She is still get help for her reading. This school didn't wait to get her help. They move in really quiet and get her help. School in FL took the a 1 year and half for them to even get them to test her, to see if she need help.

Great teachers and the cooks are sensational!

Van Buren Elementary truly is one big family. The staff is incredibly supportive of one another both in the classroom and in their personal lives. They pull together when anyone is in need whether it is a student, a student's family, or staff member. The atmosphere is truly remarkable. Staff is positive, hard-working, and truly committed to doing what it takes to help their students achieve. There's no place like 'Van Buren'!

Our staff is Super. Everyone is there for the students offering each child a warm, caring, loving, secure place to learn.

All of my children attended Van Buren and they were an excellent school. The teachers really cared about the children and always gave 110%
