As both a CHS graduate and parent of a current CHS student, I can say I am proud to be a River King. Our child is thriving at CHS and we are very pleased with all aspects of her education and the many options available for extra curricular activities. The teachers are genuinely interested in her academic success. The current principal is doing an amazing job, we couldn't be happier with his goal to instill pride in his students. We will have at least one of our three children enrolled at CHS for the next 9 years and we wouldn't have it any other way.

As a former student, i am a proud alumni! Our facilities are amazing and the staff was great! Lots of caring individuals and a ton of extracurricular options. I participated in World Language Club, Cheerleading and RSVP. Its a great school and my memories there are wonderful. I am thankful for how well I was prepared for college.

I attended CHS myself as a student and I now have a son there.I loved going to school at CHS and am thrilled to be having my children attend school there as well. The school environment is so happy, positive and nurturing. The staff is wonderful and the new principal as of the 2014-2015 is AMAZING! There are so many clubs, sports and other extra curricular activities to choose from that EVERY child, regardless of their background, will be able to find a way to become involved with the school.

CHS is an excellent school, and only getting better! It's a place where kids are offered many ways to succeed, as they prepare for their futures. A place with a variety of courses for everyone to explore, and an abundance of extracurricular activities. Parental involvement is made simple, as they may go online and view how their student is doing at any time, leaving children with little excuse not to be doing their best! If they are falling behind, there are many chances to work hard and get back on track! Many CHS teachers go out of their way to help students succeed. Also, students have positive leadership in Principal Kuch, who has had an amazing impact on CHS this year! He has helped to bring fun and pride into the hallways, and the future is looking bright for the River Kings and Queens!!!

Clinton High School has built a phenomenal system of support for all students, from 9th grade English to AP Calculus. This caring support has translated into a huge increase in student attendance and decreased course failures. Two students were selected as National Merit Scholars this past year.

I am a 2011 graduate. The school was okay when I went there. Teachers could have been less biased when it came to students. I always felt you had to be favored in order to succeed there. Staff were somewhat helpful but had days where they could have been more pleasant.

I feel a deep, personal connection to this school and the community surrounding it thanks to the excellent students and staff that have made Clinton High one of the best institutions in the state. The school offers an unprecedented learning environment that allows students access to a plethora of courses in a wide variety of disciplines. The teachers are well-educated and motivated, and in turn pass on their passion for education to their students. Additionally, the students have an immense amount of pride in their wide selection of extra curricular activities that I've yet to see in many other high schools. I graduated from Clinton High a few years ago and have many fond memories from my time there. I made life-long friends and grew exponentially as a person from my freshman to senior year. It troubles me that some people had negative experiences in high school because Clinton High truly can allow anyone, no matter your interests, income, race, or intellect, the ability to have four fantastic years of high school. CHS is the backbone of the Clinton area and nurtures an immeasurable amount of pride that can be seen daily in the attitudes of our community members and students.

With the new principal the school has come together as one. Since we got a new principal we stRted do a lot of fun things that evolve the school.one of the best highlights about the school is the student section during varsity sports. It's one thing to experience.

My husband and are both CHS grads! Our oldest just graduated this spring. We are happy with the diverse opportunities and upper level classes. She was well prepared for college and she enjoyed her time as a River Queen. We look forward to the experiences our youngest will have next year. Our pride runs river deep!

Clinton High School has now brought together academics and school pride this year! The level of rigor at Clinton High School has risen over the past few years, and they want to make sure all students succeed! The staff cares deeply about it's students and it shows by their interactions with the students. My family feels very fortunate to have a school of this caliber for our students. The rating by Great Schools does not even come close to the actual rating of Clinton High! 10 out of 10! Go Kings and Queens!

Clinton High School is a school our children have had the opportunity to grow not only in knowledge but also in self confidence and leadership. Every student is given the chance and encouraged to participate in honor and AP classes. This prepares the students for their college years and beyond. The administration and teaching staff are of top quality and ready to help every student that needs it. Top notch high school and would recommend it to anyone.

Awesome, caring staff. Change recently is administration was needed and has helped the climate so much. Their schedule choices are large and allow for students to take electives that they potentially will enjoy.

This school is the worst. It doesn't prepare the students for life out of High School. They now enforce not letting students getting lunch if they forget and ID or don't have it on a lanyard, which then you have to pay for a "temporary ID" and if you can't pay it off you get detention and can't graduate. A lot of the teachers don't want to be there and are rude and sassy, then when they sass at the students they expect us to be pleasant back. The never solve the "bullying" problem and the students are so rude many can't fit in. The worst is when the students try and take a stand that it's a "graveyard issue" and we can't change it at all. The teachers feel helpless and just let them pile on rules making it harder to excel in school and all of us miserable. I will need to know how to balance a check book, but they can't teach that because knowing how to divide a polynomial equation is "to important" not to know. I could rant for days but over all the teachers are rude, the enforced rules are illegal and punish the students, and they don't teach us how to exceed on our own, but rely on others so we can do what we're supposed to.

Hate this school. The teachers are rude and blow things completely out of proportion. the students find fun in bullying others and the faculty claims to solve the problem but often fail to do so.

Clinton is one of the worst schools I have been to, and I have been to over 5 in my 3 years of high school. The teachers are ok, but i think the big problem is they dont expect the students to amount to anything. There is little or no motivation for the students to do well, its a small town and most kids in small towns dont think there is much out there, and the school fails to show that there is alot of oppritunity for change.
