Meh. They have a solid elementary and middle school program, but something is lost at the high school level. Above average facilities. Small classes are good for individual attention, but the small student body and tuition base limit academic options. There are some outstanding faculty members but others should move on. Several really bright HS freshmen have moved to other Catholic schools in the Omaha Metro Area because parents were not convinced their children will be sufficiently challenged by the academic program. There is an athletic tradition that can be overwhelming. School administration is committed to continuous improvement, but that takes time. Reasonable tuition, school is a better alternative to CB Public Schools, and the students are exposed to Catholic teachings.
St. Albert is a great school. I have always enjoyed school and have been going to St. Albert since Kindergarten. I was also in TAG (Talented And Gifted) for most of my elementary years, and have been very successful in school for as long as I remember. I advanced to 6th grade the same year that the CBSD developed the new system where 6th grade was then part of junior high. I am very happy to have had one extra year to enjoy recess and being able to be with the same people all the time, because next year, I will be in 7th grade. I will never forget St. Albert!!!
