The kids there are cool and are very good at sports.
I am a parent of a special needs child. I feel that DC-G has potential to improve it resources for kids with learning disabilities. They do a pretty good job, but funding is an issue, as it is for all Iowa schools. It should strive for excellence in special ed. as it does in its mainstream curriculum. Students acceptance of integration is excellent. Teachers are very sensitive to the social well being of sp.ed. kids, and through their example, the students are very empathetic and caring.
