I am a alumni to North high who transfered from another Des Moines school and found the staff and the block schedule to be a great learning opportunity. Not only does the staff care about each student, bock scheduling makes time for a more hands on question and answering, help with homework or when a student just doesn't get something. I would recommend North High school to any student! Go POLARBEARS 1

This is a spectacular school as it teaches students to embrace diversity. The teachers will bend over backwards to help students acheive their goals. The science program is top notch. This is a great school and I would recommend it to anyone! Go Polar Bears!

A wonderful and refreshing mix of students from all walks of life. Respect and positive representation are top prioties of administration. Never before have I seen such a bright and interesting group of young people working together towards higher education.
