This is a great school with a very nice G&T department. It may be a bit overwhelming in size at first, but it is perfect for the 1200 students it has.

I have to agree that the school is way to big and the teachers and staff are often overwhelmed with obligations that they put their needs before the needs of the student. It too see favorites that are played and that many of the students put way to much value on the physical appearance to the point that the bullying and attitudes of their children can be a bit alarming and utter ridiculous!!!

So many parents are into the physical aspect of sending their child to Roosevelt. It is almost too fake. Putting the parents stature before the childs education and growing maturity at such a voulnarable age.

The school is WAY too big. Many of the teachers play "favorites" and expect middle school children to behave like adults. They are NOT adults they are adolescents who have a variety of issues on their own that the teachers have no idea how to deal with. They wouldn't know a real problem is if bit them. The leadership seems to have no control of their staff and it shows. Very little diversity. Parents are overinvolved. Not impressed.

Great school! Wonderful staff! Lots of different activities offered, from sports to educational. Something so everyone can be involved at school!
