As a parent of past students who graduated from Wapsie, I can verify that they received a very solid education. All three earned college degrees and said they often shared with other college students information they had gained at Wapsie.

Wapsie is a great school! I graduated from there and felt that I received an excellent education. Because the student body is so small, kids are given the opportunity to participate in almost any extracurricular activity that they would like. If you are looking for a small town to raise your kids and would like for them to receive a great education ....send them to Wapsie!

As a graduate of Wapsie, I feel I got a good education. My graduating class was around 72, and to my knowledge has been the biggest since then. There is definitely something to be said about a small school. It is a lot harder for kids to skip school, due to 2 big reasons: first, the school is in the middle of a cornfield and has no open campus policy, and two, with a small school when kids are not in school they are missed. Extra curriculars have always been good, with a good music and drama department, as well as excelling in sports. When I retire from the military, my kids will go to Wapsie.

Wapsie is a good school, but the number of students per teacher in the elementary in Fairbank is out of control, too many kids in class without enough one on one teacher time, it will come back to hurt the kids in the end. Not enough elementary activities after school either.

Yo, WVHS is the bomb man. With our strong student body, extracurriculaer activitys are sweet. Chad Garber is a quality leader. He is the man GO BIG G.
