I agree with Kelly. Fredericksburg students have kind of gotten the back seat to the Sumner students. I don't believe this was the best thing for the school at all. Would love to see us get back to the way things were. I would be willing to pay higher taxes if it meant having the high school back, quality education in a great school system such as what Fredericksburg had!!
Always trying to find new ways to meet every student's needs!
I think that when fredericksburg was alone it was a high quality school, but since they are doing the whole-grade sharing (and that fortunately at this time is only whole grade sharing) it took fredericksburg into the gutter. As far as extracurricular activities are concered very few fredericksburg children are chosen for any thing signifcant. We in fredericksburg have always taken great pride in our children, their activities and their school related functions- now to watch a sporting event we must drive to sumner and it stinks cause we clearly have better facilities.
