I agree with the last posts here. This was a great school when it was Greene High School. Student performance and focus has changed since joining with Allison. My oldest graduated from Greene and was more than prepared for what was ahead, and could fit right into a university setting. That is no longer true. The focus has changed to be more about athletics than academics or the fine arts, and the leadership has gone from bad to worse. As a parent, I would open enroll out of this district today!

I am having the same experience as the January 2010 poster. We have come from an out of state school system and there is no comparison. They do not have strong leadership and some teachers are simply in the wrong career. It's a sad situation.

The only students that do well in this school are the students who don't need the help anyway. They put down, ignore, and make it very hard for students who are not tops in the class.

Before Greene and Allison-Bristow joined, the Greene school district was the place to be. But now that it is North Butler, the scores have dropped and it isn't quite as enjoyable to be there as it once was. At first, it was great, but now, we need to fully join for it to be an enjoyable experience again.

north butler is really good school, I have one student there and this has honestly been the only school that he likes and really wants to be at school everyday.
