I have 2 children in ICS and have enjoyed the small school, and the family feeling of community within the school. The students receive a great amount of attention since there are 12.6 students per teacher. The teachers are very aware of what is going on in their classroom regarding academics as well as personal problems and concerns. They feel comfortable speaking with the parents regarding a concern they might have about their child. They also model a godly character within their classroom. The students feel special and cared for by the staff at ICS. As they reach junior high, they have more responsibilities within the school such as helping in the kitchen over noon lunch, civic duties such as flag care and helping with younger children. They have the opportunity to be involved in all sports as well as using their musical skills in programs and chapel. We love the school!
