My husband and I moved to Milo to be part of this great school district. We had previous lived in a much larger town and we wanted the safety and security a small community provides. My son is enrolled in the preschool program and he is very excited every day he goes to preschool. I find the parents friendly, I even joined a mom's group with a play dates for the moms and kids. I find the teachers and school staff very friendly and willing to put the extra effort in to meet the needs of my child.

School climate is improving with addition of new staff. Kids seem to have some pride. They need to keep hiring great staff and retire some of the burnt out, tired, negitive teachers. Too much turnover of good staff.

There is poor community support of teachers and staff. There is high teacher turnover which could be due to the lack of support for teachers by administration. The students are very disrespectful and higher education isn't encouraged by adminstration as much as it should. Test scores seem to reflect the lack of rigor stressed by staff.
