West Harrison Has Great teachers & aides that treat all students with or without disabilities equaly. West Harrison has several kids with disabilities,but the aides that work with them work hard so that parent can see their child participate at the christmas program or play. With several of the select programs West Harrison offers the students a headstart before they even start college with academy classes with which they share with three other schools. The teachers at West Harrison Make the school a great place for the kids to learn. I have two that have graduated and doing very well and one that is a Junior and is doing great. We have some new administration starting this year and I think our school will be even better.

I agree with both of you. There is absolutely no involvement. They are punished left and right, but there are no rewards. They focus on taking the kids' cell phones, and constantly trying to get them into trouble. And where is the teaching? Out the window. They need to seriously rethink what they are doing.

I agree with TC, there is zero parent involvement, not because the parents don't want to be involved, because they are not allowed. The administration leaves a lot to be desired of, and there is a lot of yelling going on, from the principal on down to teachers. Priveledges are revoked with no time frame to earn them back. A lot of works needs to be done to make this a school to be proud of.

The quality of the academic programs are not the greatest. Parent Involvement: Only if you are a Teacher's Aid or volunteer to help with any Sports. The school doesn't like any Parents to come in during school hours because the Parent is an interuption to the student's learning. Especially the younger students (PreK-3rd).
