Best school in the area! Students who attend MFL Mar Mac have the opportunity to learn from great educators in a safe, clean learning environment. This school is always striving to offer the best curriculum and learning opportunities for each child. Some examples include keeping up with technology advancements (every 9-12 student is provided a laptop to assist with their learning experience while middle school and elementary students have appropriate access in the classrooms), providing opportunities for high schoolers to earn college credit by taking advance classes on-site and offering classroom space at the local Wetlands Center to help students connect with the great outdoors. Additionally, this school has excellent facilities, both for classroom learning experiences, and extra curriculars to include both the athletics and the arts. This school recently built an awesome new weight room/wrestling room complex and music addition. They redid the football field, track and baseball field....and now they are building an auditorium with plans to update the gymnasium and commons area in the next few years.

If I was in a position to move out of the district or open enroll my kids, I would. I am appalled at the quality of the teachers, principles, and superintendent. The food program is poor, athletics are poor, instrumental music is poor. The district has almost nothing to offer young families moving in to the district. The only reason 1 star is given is because it's required. Otherwise, no star would be given.

I feel that if there is a problem with my child at your school, I as her mother should be the first to know about it. And it should be handeled properly by school officials and not swept under the carpet. I am not impressed with this school at all. The officials let bullying go on to the extreme. And just sweep it under the carpet like nothing is going on. They should wake up and smell the coffee and realize there only hurting the students.
