We are very impressed with Riverside. The teachers and staff are all very personable, honest, caring, and committed to educating our children. We couldn't be happier with our decision to move to Oakland. With our experience with a much larger area school district, we have found Riverside to be a much better choice. The larger district is impersonal, extremely numbers driven, and developmentally inappropriate. The curriculum is decided upon by people who haven't worked a classroom in years. Riverside is the polar opposite, the 'Ivory Tower' at Riverside resides IN the school. The administration is literally at your fingertips, reachable, approachable, kind and caring. I have nothing but good things to say about our children's experiences at Riverside.

This is the worse school I have come across. Push them through with no care for real education.

We are always trying to keep up to date on the newest advances in technology. We have a variety of tools to use with students that many schools don't have. Teachers attend numerous hours of professional development training. We have a principal's cabinet which acts as our school's PTO. They do many fundraising activities and do a great job of providing our students with things they want and need.

this school is the best school my kids have been to. the teachers here realy put the kids first. it has small class sizes so the kids get more one on one.
