I attended South Tama as a student and now my children attend South Tama. The Elementary School is a brand new state of the art facility and I am proud that both my children have the opportunity to learn and grow as young people in the STC school system. Yes, all school districts have their flaws but I am glad my children go to South Tama.

I take offense to the previous post that said this school and town are both 'dirty'. I attended this school and had lived in this town all of my life until I attended a private undergraduate college and then law school. This school and its teachers helped provide me with a great education so that I could move forward with the education I now have. I believe the teachers in this schoo are one of a kind and are a great benefit to the district!

This school is horrible. It is dirty and the town is dirty. I would not send my child to a school system such as South Tama.

I think one of the great things about this school is its diversity. This school is close to the Meskwaki settlement and Tama has a large Hispanic population. As a student and now a parent I appreciate the fact that my child has the opportunity to learn about other cultures while attending a small school.

I graduated from this school, and during my 4 years of being there you notice there is a lot of favoritism to other students and also special treatment to others.
