River Valley Elementary School

Teachers overal are good and caring, they take their time and work with the children. Have had some problems with the elem.principal. Need more understanding and less judging to quick to make inappropiate decsions.

The enrollment to the school district has gone up again this year. I think that goes to show you that it is a good place to raise your children. The communities are small in size but big in values. The schools fit that same discription. There are more levels of math classes offered at the High School that even in Sioux City. Teachers give up their planning periods to work with struggling learners, you don't see that happen too much anywhere else. This is a great place to live, great place to raise your kids, small-town feel but yet close enough to the city so that you can easily get all a big town has to offer. Best of all, the administrators listen to you and care.

My kids only went to this school for 2 years and that was to much we have now chaged schools and they are doing great! The prinicipal in general was my problem not because my kids were in trouble but just differnces and her attitutde in general.
