Lou Henry Elementary School

Both my kids go here....it's the best elementary school in Waterloo. The principal runs a tight shift and is a very fair and understanding person. The teachers are amazing , top of the line, the best. I've been blessed that ever since they started at LH, their teachers have been believers and love Jesus. That makes me feel like my children are in great hands. Each year I have submitted one of their teachers for the GOld Star teaching award and come to find out they have already won it in the past. This year my son has a teacher who was Gold star last year and already I can see why. She is truly amazing and caring and both of my kids teachers show a level of excellence and respect as all the staff at LH does. The counselor is truly a godsend and the gifted student teacher is the best ever!

I think this is the best elementary school in the Cedar Valley...great leadership by the Principal and excellent teachers. I have had 4 kids go to this school since it opened.

My son goes to this school and I love it! The principal is a very nice understanding man. He will take the time to listen to any complaints you have and try to fix any problem going on. The thing I dislike the most about the whole school is the parking lot! Nothing to do about that though, they have a parking person who makes sure everything goes smooth. If that is the worst thing about the school I want my son to stay here!! I LOVE LOU HENRY!!!
