This school has a good program that is getting better every month. Not only do the students learn a lot from the teachers but, the teachers also learn from the students. For instance the students have more of an ideal way of to use computers and can fix problems the teachers have. The teachers also learn well from the teachers. I have to admit my kids love the freshman geography teacher. They say that he teaches in a way that no other teacher does and the way he teaches actually helps them remember what they learned. Now the only down fall to this is that the reading scores are low. So instead of having home room, where they can do any homework, they have AR reading. Once they're finished with a book they would take a quiz over the book to see what their reading level is. A bad thing is the that principal doesn't do a good job at suspending people for the sane reason. Such as one of my children told me that their peer got suspended for yelling at a student. Another time she came home and said that a peer got hit over the head with a padlock because two of her peers got into a physical fight and, neither of them got suspended. So the school does have kinks but they fix them.

I also love it here. It was hard for me to fit in other places, but when I came to WMU they made me feel at home. The students are nice, and the teachers actually care.
