I have one child who exceeds at school, but that is not due to her teachers. She is just very quick at learning. I also have one child that although he learns quickly, is a handful. Not aggressive or naughty, just very outspoken and happy. His grades are all good and last year there was talk of him not needing the behavioral classes any longer. This year however they failed to communicate with the teachers from last year and did not continue the agreed upon program. My son is still getting good grades but his behavior charts went from 95-98% every day the last three months of the year to 56-70% this year. It took me confronting the teachers to correct this and figure it out. Very dissapointing that the teachers didn't bother to even check why his behavior had declined so much.

We just moved to the school district this year and my child is inthe 4th grade, my child has good grades other than she is stuggling in the math. This math is called Saxton math and i think it is a joke my child is doind algebra and division without even had learned her mutiplication table yet so she is behind but teacher is pushing forward and my child cannot understand doing division when she should be learning her mutiplication first it makes sense ..so being that my husband is very smart in school and his math is his strong piont he is trying to teach our child math everynight at home and its very difficult with the way the teacher is teaching and our way we learned in school so we are confusing my child even more , the teachers get paid to do this !they dont help my child!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a great deal of parent involvement in the WES. There is a wide variety of extracurricular activites for all ages of Elementary students. It is such a great school, we passed on taking promotions, and moving out of town, just so our children can stay in that school district.
