I am an AHS alumni and I think the high school was great. It was small enough so there was a great teacher-student ratio, all students had the opportunity to be in numerous extracurricular activities such as sports, drama/debate, yearbook, FCCLA, student play, etc. and there were no problems other than cliques, which you'll find in any school.

I think Axtell High School is a great school. They have a good sports program, which includes: Football, Volleyball, Basketball, and Track. Axtell High School participates in many other activities such as: Scholars Bowl, FCCLA, Forensics, and many others. It has good employment. The teachers are wonderful. They are very understanding, reliable, and helpful. Even though it is a small district, and a school of only about a hundred students(7-12), I still think it will go far!!
