There are always two sides of every story. There needs to be evidence that your student needs an IEP (Individualized Education Plan). CES is a great school, with teachers who go above and beyond. Their test scores are excellent, especially in math and reading. All staff are very caring, and emphasize many character traits.

the after school program is really great, but i do agree about the socializing! even after our tornado there's not enough focus on curriculum. Also, if you come here without an IEP for your special needs kids, forget it! They have fought me going on 2 yrs now to get my son an IEP, who has been diagnosed with several problems and notes from each doctor. they still won't help him!! but i won't let them win and push out of the school like they have other families I have spoken to. just make sure you're wearing you're fighting gloves if you come here expecting an IEP or any kind of educational help for your child!

Terrific math program! Check out the state ranking and you'll be astonished at how far above average Chapman has become. Teachers are excellent, care about the kids and the school is both extremely safe and tolerant of students' religious needs. Great educational program + great teachers = great school. Highly recommend.

Chapman is a very 'social' environment. More pressure is put on children to preform socially than academically. Summer school is not offered and there is NOT an after school program.
