I am a student at Pleasant Ridge and I love it! We have a pretty good sports- especially football. All of the teachers really want us to do well in school, there's even this new program called ASAP (After School Assistance Program) where the teachers stay after school to help any students that need it. I would recomend this school to anybody unless you like big schools. If you like big schools or big cities, then this school probably isn't for you.

I feel that Pleasant Ridge High School offers students stability and an excellent learning environment that helps them in obtaining an impeccable education. Through a dedicated staff and a varied student population, Pleasant Ridge rises to overcome all challenges and provides students with opportunities to excel in life.

PRHS provides education for students for grades 9 through 12. The quality of education is ok, but is needs much improvment in the math and science area. I highly recommend more outside influences as most of the staff grew up in the area an attended the same schools.

PR is not a bad school. If you want your student to have fun and meet alot of people than you should send them here. Everybody in the school are very close probably because majority of the school is related. There is more of a student-teacher interaction because there are not many students. The sports are not bad, the football team is good and won there league championship. The basketball team has a good chance at state and track is just fun. I highly recommend this school for any student. -CM

This school is a great school looking for an escape from the terrible conflict due to gang or city related violence. The only problem is the technology is being advanced so we are having a few problems and the class options are small due the size of the school. Overall this school does a great job with what it has and for those people who want to escape the city life it is a perfect place.
