Best Junior High in the nation. Everyone knows no school in the area comes close to Patton's academic so I thought I would focus on the other aspects. I attended Patton in the 9th grade and played football and basket ball. In the spring I played baseball for the local High School. I truly believe that playing with the small football team there at Patton showed me what it takes to be a winner. I played Colligate football for the University of Alabama and had multiple baseball scholarships coming out of high school. The teachers, students and lessons learned there will always stay with you and I am very proud to have attended Patton Jr High. I still try to keep in touch with my friends from back then. Class of 1997.

I have to stay this have been a great year for my child. The teachers are fair and truly care about the children. The principal is awesome too bad he is retiring. Hope to have another wonderful year starting this fall.

Patton is probaly the best school I've ever been to. I was only there for 8th grade but I learned a lot in that one year. There aren't really gifted programs there but the classes there are challenging enough as far as homework as learning the material goes. My teachers were great, they taught me everything I needed to do know on the state tests. That is why I got advanced on all of the subjects. If your kid didn't learn anything then maybe the problem is with you and your kid becuase I know these teachers work hard.

I attended Patton for 7th and 8th grade. I'd say that overall the sports where horrible. Academic wise there was alot of homework and teachers weren't very involved. I think the Tech portion wasn't the greatest and i hardly learned anything. The lunch food was disgusting. The Vice Principal isn't very understanding and disliked by many students because of how controlling he was. Out of all the on post schools, Patton is my least favorite.

The music program is phenomenal! Many incredible teachers, but again, many not so great. Administrators not impressive. Difficult to facilitate change--lack of cooperation if the military member is not available for 'backup.'

I was impressed by the follow up by the counselors for a new student; and was very happy with the academic progress my son made duing his year there.

Patton Junior High is overall a great school. It's high academic standards make students strive for greatness. Although the advance classes, such as IDEA, don't challenge students nearly as much as they should. I will say Patton is a very advanced school. Students have to be ready to learn or they will fall behind. This is a problem for some academically challenged students. But there are some classes made for helping those students learn at their own pace. The school spirit is awesome, even if our teams aren't the best. So overall Patton is an excellent school.

I have to give PJHS high ratings. I attended PJHS in the 2002 year as an 8th grader and had a blast. I also was well educated. Im now a sophmore in high school and maintain a 4.0 GPA. This school prepared me tremdously for 4 of the most important years of my life.

I couldnt dissagree more!! This school can not handle children with any sort of dissabilities. My son is adhd and was left to sit and do nothing because he was pacified and not bothering the class. So he was getting no education what so ever! this school gets an F from me
