I think that it s a great school!! I really enjoy going there but...This year we were supposed to have a day were we would spend all day outside and have fun and build a hut for Africa day. But we don't get to do it this year because of State Assessments. We spent too much time preparing for tests this year and we didn t get to have enough fun. I know school is supposed to be about learning! But I just don t think it was fair that kids in the past got to do Africa day! But we don t because of testing, that other kids in the past did badly on so we have to clean up their mistakes! We did well on the State assessments and we still don t get to do Africa Day!! I just don t think its right!

My children did very well at Fort Scott Middle School. Mrs. Albright was a very understanding principal. I will certainly send my two other children to Fort Scott Middle School and I assume they will blossom also.

children are poorly supervised.Much of teaching staff only interested in sporting activities and field trips.Interest levels of teachers in children needing extra help is nonexsistant.General attitude of teachers and other staff members is sullen to hostile.This is the reason I removed my child from this school.
