The school is great! I have four children ranging from 2nd grade to high school, and my children have really blossomed over the the last couple of years. We moved from a larger school to Hope and would never go back there. The teachers are fantastic and always willing to help. The principal is easy to get a hold of and always ready to discuss any concerns you may have. The school spirit is just amazing, and the town is so supportive of all the kids. And then there are the kids, everyone knows everyone, and they pretty much take care of each other. Its a great school all around.

We just recently moved away from Hope and thought we would move back at one point because the small town living was very nice for our family. Now that we have moved to another school we see a big difference for our children. Hope seems to be a bit backwards in not accepting newer folks or giving them a chance. They are friendly to greet you but my family never got the chance to even get a job or show their potential. If you are not from here and seem different than they do not want to give you a chance. My family is very happy so not sure we will move back to the area. My wife was offered a job at the school and loves it after only a few days. The kids are invited to activities and actually getting to participate.

This school has the potential to be a great school but since newer administration has taken over in recent years they do not seem to really care about the child's and family welfare. A few staff members talk very negative about families and children and it brings the rest of the staff down and causes much gossip and problems. Until they get firm and start addressing this school their numbers will continue to drop. They should be gaining students with such great teachers and academic potential but you cannot blame parents for seeking a school with more positive measures to build not only the school but the family also. It is a beautiful little town and cannot attract many new young families if they just start taking care of these issues. It doesn't take much to say I'm sorry how can we change this or fix this problem.
