We have been at David Brewer for 2 years now and I love it. The children are happy the teachers are great and so is the principal. So far I have found nothing to complain about. The children are doing great and involved in the after school activities. Keep up the great work.

So far it's been a great school! My son is in Kindergarten and his teacher is wonderful! Always returns calls to you no matter what time at night, she will get back with you. She works with us on how he is doing in school and provides feedback on what she can do to help along with us! I'm very pleased. They seem to be a very safe school. Teacher will not let them leave until she sees parents and will let them go one at a time to know that they are leaving with the proper people. In Kindergarten, my sons attends gym class, music and art! I love everything about David Brewer so far and I think it is a wonderful school! I hope you pick this school as well. You won't be sorry.

After attend Lawson for 3 years and falling behind by over two grade levels she has moved up to only being behind by .5. Teachers are supportive and encourage the child s growth and development. Our son who has special needs also attends school there and have supported us and given our son confidence. He has made many improvements in the year has been there. My daughter s class ratio is 1 to 15 which is smaller then the school she was attending in Johnson County 1 to 25. Many activities are available music, art, p.e., clubs, and sports.

My daughter attended this school last year, and it is by far one of the worst schools I have had the misfortune of sending my daughter to. The school is full of kids who are trouble makers and bullies. No real form of discipline is ever used, and when weak forms of discipline are used, they are ineffective. Students know that they will be no real consequences for any of their actions. All of the classrooms were overfilled, and most teachers were not able to control the kids they were responsible for. Many times, the wrong students were blamed for things they had no part in. On one occasion I was in class with my daughter, and when one student complained to the teacher that another student had once again stolen his pencils, her answer was 'don't bring them to school then.' What kind of answer is that?

Fantastic school, teachers are totally committed to the success of my children. Great programs to include tutoring, speech pathologist, occupational therapy, and mostly quite a bit more that I don't know about. School has up to date computers in every classroom. Students receive Art, Music and P.E. which has disapeared in so many schools in the United States. David Brewer wants and expects parents to participate i.e. be responsible for their children which does put off some parents. Anyway the thing I like the most out of David Brewer is that they really do care about my children and I feel I have done something extra special for their future by having them in a school like this one. -Anna

I dont feel like this school puts the childrens best interest first, they are too quick to just pass a child on to the next grade instead of helping the child with his struggles.
