I taught speech and debate, and directed the annual senior play, during my two-year career at McPherson H.S. Those two years were the mosting rewarding during my years of teaching. Merle D. Ulery, ex-teacher.

I'm a student at Mac High. This has been one of the best schools I have ever been at. The other students are very nice. There isnt a huge problem with 'groups', everyone is friends with each other and they don't put you down for who you hang out with. The teachers are some of the nicest teachers I've had in all the schools I've been to, and they really know how to teach. They go at our speed and take the time out to help us understand. There are so many extra activities students can do. There are a ton of different clubs, and of course, sports. It's really easy to find your way around the school, too..after you get to know it. If your student could pick any class, I would highley recomend band, even if your student can't play an instrument. That is one of the best classes here.
