I've seen it first hand, whether it be from the Principal, the Counselor, or any of the teachers that work here, everyone works together to make sure the students are becoming well rounded individuals.
As you can see from previous reviews on this page, which are more than 6 years old, most people did not like this school. Which I can not understand. We moved to this school district in the middle of the year and came from a school district that was the worst I have ever seen, and I work within schools. My son was also just diagnosed with turrets and Asperger, not even a month after he started here, and everyone has been amazing. From the Principal, Counselor, School Psychologist and especially his teacher. He is excited about school again and loves going every day. He can't wait to start 4th grade!
From our experience, this seems to be the weak link in the Mulvane school system. For example, we had 2 children enter this school that loved to read, and the teaching methods left them indifferent at best. They became avid readers again once they graduated to the next level. The problems we experienced here appear to be systemic, and start from the top down to the bottom. Communication is poor, and my kids learned to dislike school here. Fortunately, that has passed as they left this school. There are some good teachers here and those are the reason this school didn't get a lower rating but unfortunately there are many bad ones that offset them.
